Because of the unique combination of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene co-monomers in its backbone, Halar® ECTFE offers extremely high chemical and fire resistance, combined with distinctive surface properties.

 

Halar® ECTFE meltblown veil provides a long-lasting, easy to impregnate, chemically inert surface veil for fiber reinforced laminates suitable for use in chemical piping and vessels.

 

Halar® ECTFE veil is designed to be used as a surfacing veil with thermoset resin fiber reinforced laminates. It can be used as direct replacement for glass and polyester veil, without the need of adding binders and maintains excellent dry and wet strength essential for all forms of fabrication and molding.
